Sunday morning, late July, too hot for the beach so Julian and I took time for a game of Go at the Green Cottage.  Go is *the* classic board game.  You can learn the rules in minutes yet still be learning how to play after years of experience.
Go ( 圍棋 ,Weiqi in Chinese, pronounced way-chee) is a part of classical Chinese culture - you see pictures of people seated by a game board in many traditional pictures. Despite that Go is not played much by Hong Kong people today. So whenever we get the board out we expect comments and questions from passers by. "Look at the Gweilos playing Weiqi! Waah!".
This time instead of just pointing, a group of students asked to take a picture too.  No problem, but as I always do, I asked them to send us a copy of the pictures.  I didn't really expect to receive a copy - most people lose the email address or forget or whatever.

But this time was different. This morning in my inbox was an email with attached photos. Thank you Silvia!  And I must say that Kira is looking especially pretty in this one.
